**Purchasing/Buyer - LED Industrial Lighting**

Are you an experienced **Purchasing/Buyer** looking to grow with a dynamic and innovative company? We are working with a client in the **LED industrial lighting industry**, a rapidly growing organization expanding across Canada. They are seeking a bright, motivated, and teachable professional to join their team in **Concord, Ontario**.

This role offers a unique opportunity to be the first in-office Purchasing/Buyer, with training and mentorship provided to ensure success.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Vendor Management**: Build and maintain strong relationships with Chinese vendors to source high-quality products while negotiating competitive pricing.
- **Procurement Expertise**: Manage purchase orders and oversee efficient procurement processes for industrial lighting solutions.
- **Data Management**: Use **Microsoft Excel** (functions, formulas, and data analysis) to create reports, track orders, and optimize performance.
- **Communication**: Collaborate effectively with vendors and internal teams, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all correspondence.
- **Market Insights**: Stay informed on supplier markets and industry trends to shape purchasing strategies.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: 2-3 years of experience sourcing and purchasing products from China.
- **Language Proficiency**: Fluent in **Mandarin** and **English**, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in **Microsoft Excel**, with expertise in functions, formulas, and data analysis.
- **Industry Knowledge**: Familiarity with industrial products or LED lighting is preferred but not required.
- **Education**: An engineering background is a plus but not mandatory.
- **Attributes**: Strong organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
