**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Manager of Domestic Admissions, the Support Services Officer is responsible for providing assistance to the admissions processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform document scanning as required and ensure documents are scanned within a specified timeframe.
- Provides cross functional backup and support to colleagues within the admissions office during peak periods.
- Utilize Salesforce to handle inquiries, provide responses, or route to the appropriate adviser.
- Operates in accordance with Freedom of Information and Protection Privacy Act guidelines and within the parameters of established standard policy, procedure, guidelines, and practices of Seneca.
- Perform other duties as required.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**
- Minimum completed one (1) year certificate in Office Administration or a related field.

**Experience**
- Minimum one (1) year of experience working in an administrative role.

**Skills**
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with awareness and sensitivity to cross-cultural communication requirements of clients and an understanding of special need students and diversity issues.
- Strong interpersonal abilities and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot minor discrepancies.
- Being able to work well with others and the ability to adapt to a changing environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining excellent tact and diplomacy.

**Note**: A skills assessment may be required as a part of the recruitment process.
