**Work related duties**:
- To translate spoken language to sign language and sign language to spoken language between people who are hearing and people who are deaf/hard of hearing.
- Supportive residential environment for those with Autism, Developmental Delays, Mental Health or behavioral issues.
- **Communicate effectively with a client who is hard of hearing, and is fluent in ASL**:
- Sign language skills such as ASL an asset
**Mandatory Requirements**:
- Must be a graduate from a recognized College with or University equivalent in:(Developmental Support Autism ABA Therapy, Behavioral Therapist, Behavioral Science, Registered Behavior Technician, Psychology Major)
- Level 1 First Aid / CPR Certificate.
- Must have valid crisis training**:CPI and Safe Management or UMAB**:
- Working with Autism, Mental Health Behavioral, and Developmentally Delayed clients in a Group Home Setting
- Must have mandatory Vulnerable Sector Clearance within 6 months to 1 year
- Must have ASD experience working with clients utilizing crisis prevention and therapeutic approaches.
- Support client(s) in personal and developmental, hygiene and overall care of clients progress and routines.

- Demonstrates ability to organize workload and to respond efficiently and effectively to unexpected workload and situations.
- Demonstrates ability to operate related equipment.
- Steady shifts available but must be willing to work rotational shifts when required (7 days a week), potential for full time for the right individuals
