**Job Summary**

We are a busy family medical office, holding 8 Primary Care Physicians. We are looking for an experienced Medical Office Administrative/Clinical Assistant to join our team.

You must be able to work in a fast pace, medical environment.

Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm and Friday 8:30am to 1:00pm

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Greeting and checking in patients while confirming all demographics.
- Answering incoming and outgoing phones calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Scheduling and managing appointments using EMR.
- Communicating with patients on behalf of physicians, relying telephone calls & messages.
- Data entry, scanning, faxing referral, prescriptions, labs though EMR
- Performing minor in office procedures such as urine dips, vitals, & some injections (No experience necessary we will train)
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Minimum Post-secondary Medical Office Administration diploma, including medical terminology _OR_ minimum of 3 years experience in similar position
- Excellent telephone, computer systems skills and experience in working in high volume medical office setting
- Ability to use good judgement in assessing and/or responding to difficult situations
- Experience using Oscar EMR a strong asset

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
