**POSTION SUMMARY**:
The Receptionist/General Store Operations position, works under the direction of the Director of Finance and is responsible to provide reception, clerical and sales support to Cassellholme residents, visitors and staff.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Reception Services to Cassellholme**:

- Receive all incoming telephone calls, provide information or direct calls to the appropriate department or individual;
- Using the public address system and walkie talkie system to page or contact specific individuals throughout the Home per established protocols;
- Directing walk-in guests to appropriate department; provide information packages on request and answer general questions.
- Order and sort inventory, distribute all Cassellholme office supplies;
- Sort and distribute mail daily, post outgoing mail;
- Maintain the postage machine, including request for funds, maintenance and supplies, inventory, sell and balance postage stamp sales;
- Arrange courier services as needed through local and national carriers;
- Operate and maintain fax machine, send and distribute incoming faxes accordingly;
- Monitor petty cash including paying out authorized receipts and balancing monthly;
**Residents Safe Keeping Account**:

- Process residents’ safekeeping withdraws and deposits, provide receipts and ensure accountability by authorization signatures;
**Retail Sales**
- Assisting residents, visitors and staff with the selection of merchandise
- Displaying and organizing products in a store for the customers to locate
- Process, check and stock inventory to ensure deliveries are correct and of good quality
- Process business transactions, handle cash, and process debit/credit cards.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
- You have a satisfactory CPIC with vulnerable sector screening within six (6) months
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Post-secondary diploma in Office Administration or equivalent experience
- Self-motivated, task-oriented and able to set priorities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Attendance in keeping with standards of the Attendance Management Program
- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $22.61-$26.60 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
