- This position is accountable to the Community Services Program Heads and provides administrative assistance to ensure the effective operation. Specific duties include the following:
1. Provide general administrative assistance and office management.
2. Provide steno support services for meetings.
3. Type, proofread, photocopy, fax and file various documents.
4. Coordinate and prioritize daily/weekly/monthly schedules for the Human Services Program Heads including appointments and travel arrangements.
5. In collaboration with the Human Services Program Heads, review and interpret budget reports and provide clarification for discrepancies.
6. Take the lead role with the preparation of workshops and/or presentations.
7. Develop, organize and maintain filing systems for student development- QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE**Specific Accountabilities**

**Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)**
- 1. A recognized Office Administration or Business Certificate, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
2. Three years’ experience in an administrative assistant position.
3. Training and/or experience in the taking and transcribing of minutes.
4. Basic working knowledge of budget and accounting procedures and administrative financial reporting.
5. Training and/or experience at the advanced level in the use of word processing (eg MS Word) and at the intermediate level in the use of MS Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication (listening, oral, written) skills.
7. Ability to produce high-quality work while under tight timelines and changing priorities.
8. Ability to exercise sound judgment in handling highly confidential/sensitive information or material.
9. Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
