Job Overview.

The objective of an Event Supervisor is to oversee and ensure the seamless execution of Weddings and Special Occasion Events. The Event Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable and memorable experience while supervising and coordinating the activities of the event staff.

The Event Supervisor plays a pivotal role in creating a positive and enjoyable atmosphere for guests.

This includes:

- Greeting and welcoming guests upon arrival.
- Addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously.
- Monitoring guest interactions to ensure high standards of hospitality.
- Coordinating with vendors to ensure all elements of the event meet the client’s expectation. Act as the main point of contact for the evening.
- Overseeing the event timeline to ensure all activities run smoothly and on schedule, managing any delays or changes efficiently.
- Supervising staff to ensure they provide exceptional service and support to guests.
- Proactively identifying and resolving any issues promptly and professionally that may impact guest enjoyment.

The Event Supervisor also focuses on the efficient management of the event staff, ensuring they are well coordinated, motivated, and able to deliver high quality service.

This includes:

- Assigning tasks and responsibilities to staff members.
- Conducting pre-event briefings with event staff
- Providing guidance and support to staff throughout the event.
- Ensuring staff adhere to venue policies and standards.

By balancing the needs of the guests and the standards of the event staff, the Event Supervisor ensures that every event at the venue is successful and exceeds the client and guest expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications.
- Proven experience in event planning or coordination, particularly in weddings or large scale special events.
- A degree in event management, hospitality or a related field is preferred.
- Skills:

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
