**Job Summary**

Reporting to the Sales Operations Director, as part of the Business Development and Customer Partnerships team, the Sales Operations Lead will work closely with key stakeholders and senior leaders to develop and execute the strategic and tactical plan for Western regional activities, processes, initiatives, and issues impacting retail and institutional customers, enabling the sales teams to run and develop the business more efficiently and effectively.

The Sales Operations Lead will also work cross-functionally to align McKesson's internal teams to deliver operational solutions to improve the customer experience and act as key liaison with the Sales teams to drive a positive customer experience.

**Section A - Specific Responsibilities**
- Leverages regional stakeholder partnerships to define and develop tactical approach to customer impacting events and activities including but not limited to operational outages, urgent crisis intervention, strategic initiatives, and business process optimization. Prioritizes a positive or improved customer experience.
- Serves as the sales operations prime for all regional distribution activities, initiatives, or issues that may impact customers. Partners with cross-functional teams to define internal/external communications requirements in conjunction with Customer Care and Customer Communications and provides tactical guidance to Sales leaders to support external execution.
- Works with the sales team to plan business development and retention activities; develops and coordinates the execution of regional activities that enable the Sales team to operate efficiently and drive growth; assesses results and takes appropriate measures to improve performance.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment managing both proactive initiatives and reactive events on overlapping timelines. Provides creative solutions to complex issues and contributes to stakeholder alignment. Guides project prioritization and ensures projects are completed as defined within the approved scope, on time, and within budget.
- Provides the expertise and coordination necessary to ensure customer issues are resolved quickly and effectively enabling the Sales team to operate more efficiently and strengthen distribution partnerships.
- Measures, analyzes, and reports on the performance of regional initiatives; continually monitor metrics, adjusting approach and/or messaging to maximize impact and effectiveness when needed.

- Strong understanding of McKesson systems (MBA, AS400, data cubes) considered an asset.
