**About us**:
Newgen Medical Clinic is conveniently located in the heart of Abbotsford Historic Downtown. It is a multispecialty clinic with 3 full time Doctors, 3 Specialist,8 Exam rooms, 1 Doctors room, 1 separate MOA working station and a lunch room. There is plenty of dedicated free parking.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 5 years of Medical office assistant with Accuro EMR
- Experience with OSCAR EMR would be an assett
- Minimum 2 year experience as clinic manager
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Excellent customer service skills & a strong patient focus;
- Attention to detail;
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills;
- Strong commitment to privacy and security;
- Ability to resolve conflicts;
- Strong team player;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

Below are the general tasks that may be required.

**Basic**
- Telephone triage;
- Must be able to supervise MOA staff performing clinic duties
- Incoming/Outgoing mail
- Patient intake & demographics
- Receiving referrals
- Scanning & linking documents;
- Filing & faxing;
- Completing referrals
- Completing patient call-ins & call-backs;
- Diagnostic scheduling & patient notification;
- Office cleaning;
- Cash/money - handling payments, AR, petty cash/float;
- Keeping inventory & ordering office supplies

**Advanced**
- Complete blood pressure: manual & auto;
- Managing the clinic work flow
- Making sure all the task and faxes are completed in timely manner
- Height & weight measuring;
- Take VA;
- Tray & room set up;
- Sanitation & instrument sterilization;
- Medical Asepsis;
- Urinalysis, pregnancy testing, spirometry, glucose monitoring, foot exams;
- Assisting physicians in procedures;
- Keeping inventory & ordering medical & testing supplies;
- Immunizations management & ordering;
- Managing drug cupboard, (ordering drugs from CDC, setting up drug reps, ensuring drugs are not expired);
- Hospital/care home admission & coordination;
- Prescription refills;
- Take adequate medical history & medication list.

**Compensation**

Wages will depend on the experience you bring in clinic.

**Availability**

30 to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Possible weekends in future
