**Job description**

We are currently looking for an Auto Body Damage Appraiser/ Estimator in addition to our team.

We are immediately looking for an Appraiser who is a great team player, has excellent communication skills, personable and friendly, and willing to go above and beyond to please our customers

Role of an Appraiser:
The Appraiser is the main point of contact for customers; therefore, this position is the true representation of our company. Aside from being the company’s representative, the Appraiser is also responsible for:

- Providing customers with timely and friendly appraisals.
- Handling communication with insurance companies, fleet, customers, and other parties involved
- Completing insurance compliant appraisals while achieving the Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
- Documenting and taking photographs of all prior damages.
- Performing adjustments as needed in the case of additional damages that are found after the initial appraisals.
- Participating in daily production meetings to provide key information to the Production Manager and the rest of the team members.
- Handling inquiries as well as estimating damages from our online estimating program.
- Other additional duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in appraising.
- Experience with Audatex & Mitchell Estimating & Management Systems
- I-CAR training is preferred.
- Intermediate to advance knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
- Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver License or equivalent.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management skills, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Has a good work attitude and a strong team player.
- Adaptable to changes.
- Ability to interact with all levels of personnel and handle multiple tasks at once.
- A self-motivator with the willingness to keep learning.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
