Repair Advisor/Damage Collision Estimator

Job Summary: (Willing to relocate to Calgary)The role is responsible for writing quality appraisal sheets for automotive and collision repair and providing exceptional customer service. The accountabilities of the role are focused on two main areas: accurate repair advice and customer delight.

This position reports to the Store General Manager.

The Appraiser / Estimator is responsible for:
  • Assessing vehicle damage and creating an initial repair order estimate.
  • Maintaining regular contact with the insurance companies to advise on vehicle repair status.
  • Primary point of contact for customers during and after the repair by providing information, repair updates, and a high level of service throughout the process.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to write collision repair estimates.
  • 3 years experience in appraisal writing.
  • Knowledgeable in repair estimating software (Mitchell Cloud and/or Audatex).
  • Knowledgeable in various Insurance “DRP” practices/guidelines.
  • Effective multi-tasker that values superior customer experience.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Above-average communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
