**Job Summary**: This position is funded through Ontario’s Job Creation Partnerships (see more details below). Reporting to the Administrative Manager and Executive Director, the incumbent will coordinate, train, and liaise with festival volunteers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and update volunteer information, such as contact information, schedules, skills, qualifications.
- Support volunteers in preparation for the festival and other upcoming events.
- Prepare and facilitate any and all volunteer recruitment and training and related training materials.
- Assemble and distribute welcome packages for volunteers.
- Responsible for assemblage, distribution, and collection of production kits for all concerts and events.
- Act as on-site coordinator to support volunteers and staff at events and concerts as needed.
- Perform other administrative duties as requested by, and in support of, the Administrative Manager.
- Collaborate to develop and implement new ideas to recruit, retain and appreciate the organizations volunteers.
- Onsite support during the Music and Beyond Summer Festival.

**Skills and Qualifications Required**:

- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and communication skills in English required.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Word, and MS Excel.
- Able to work under pressure and on various projects simultaneously and autonomously.
- Able to demonstrate a high-level of initiative.
- Resourceful, tactful, mature, self-motivated.

**Additional Qualifications Required**:
Eligible to participate in Ontario’s Job Creation Partnership (JCP) program by meeting the following criteria:
1. An unemployed job seeker or those employed less than 20 hours per week.

2. Cannot be a full-time student; part-time students seeking full-time employment are eligible to apply.

3. Live in Ontario, legally authorized to work in Canada.

4. Have one, or both, of the following criteria:
a. Previously established an Employment Insurance (EI) benefit claim (regular benefits within the last three years or maternity/parental within the last five years), and/or

b. Previously employed in Canada in five of any the last ten calendar years while earned a gross income in excess of $2000 in each calendar year.


**Job Type**: Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $20.68 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week

Schedule:
