We are Ottawa's premier professional open-air theatre, dedicated to bringing innovative and engaging performances to our community. Our 38th season promises to be an exciting one, with a focus on creative arts fairs, workshops, and community events.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will work closely with our General Manager and Marketing Director to develop and implement effective outreach strategies, engage with diverse community groups, and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in promoting our community outreach program through various channels;
  • Research and identify groups working with diverse and underserved members of the community;
  • Coordinate outreach efforts to schedule bookings for community groups to attend and participate in theatre and arts events;
  • Develop and maintain written and visual promotional materials;
  • Update our website and social media platforms regularly;
  • Create engaging content, including blogs, interviews, and photos;
  • Distribute marketing materials and respond to public inquiries;
  • Maintain accurate databases and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Courses in Theatre, Marketing, Communications, Media/Public Relations or related fields;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Proficiency in digital tools, including Microsoft Office, Canva, and WordPress;
  • Experience with social media platforms and content creation;
  • Outgoing and positive attitude when interacting with the public.
Compensation and Benefits
