**Job Description**:
The RVH Health and Wellness Clinics (Rizzardo Center) provides various clinics including, Medicine Treatment Clinics, Child & Youth Ambulatory Clinics, Cardiorespiratory Clinics and Mental Health & Wellness Clinics. There is also anticipation that additional clinics will continue to be accommodated at the RVH Health and Wellness Centre in Innisfil.
- Medical Office Administration Certificate/Diploma or Equivalent Program essential
- Office administration experience in a hospital clinic environment
- Computer literacy - Microsoft Office - essential II. Keyboarding skills - 50wpm - essential
- Experience with an electronic medical record (EMR), order entry and appointment scheduling
- Current experience in the processing of physicians orders an asset
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively using both oral and written format with patients, families, public, colleagues and other members of the interprofessional team
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable to a changing work environment
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and function effectively in a busy environment
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and organizational skills
- Internet skills to effectively & efficiently navigate various websites to assist with collecting accurate provider information
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to function in a multi-task environment
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning
