BBE is seeking a **Warehouse Acceptance Agent **to join the YEG location who will ensure BBE’s supply chain activities run safely, effectively, and that BBE is well position for growth. Our operations are high velocity with predominantly floor-stack goods. We have mínimal on-hand inventory as we pride ourselves on short turnaround times for our customers. We manage all diverse types of inventories from dangerous goods to groceries to pharmaceuticals to mining equipment.

**Accountabilities**
- Warehouse customer service and delivery.

**Responsibilities**
- Receive and handle cargo on behalf of customers.
- Process cargo documentation system entries.
- Verify manifests that accompany freight to ensure no discrepancies.
- Manifest freight for shipping.
- Communicate with vendors for various aspects of their freight.
- Dangerous good processing (packaging, handling, and documentation) when necessary.
- Packaging and prepping freight for transport.
- Organize pickups, delivery, and billing in a timely manner.
- Consolidation of shipments.
- Prioritization of shipments based on client specific requirements.
- Timely and effective resolution of client or process issues if they occur (delays, damage, et al).
- Maintain accurate record keeping as required by various government agencies and Company policies.
- Follow company Health and Safety Standards and complete safety duties as required and instructed to do.
- Follow all company policies and procedures as trained and communicated to do so.
- Cleanliness of facilities and workstations.
- Ensure the facility maintains a secure environment, as required by Edmonton Airport Authority, Canada Customs and Transport Canada.
- Ensure that all workplace issues, including barriers to high level of customer service, are brought to the attention of the Supervisor/Manager and assist in creating solutions.

**Qualifications**
- Logistics and transportation experience an asset.
- Shipping, receiving, warehouse experience is considered an asset.
- Forklift and equipment operating experience is considered an asset.
- CIFFA, SCMP or similar certification is considered an asset.
- Proficient computer skills (excel, work, outlook).
- High attention to details.

**Salary**
- Starting at $20.00 per hour.
