Neptune Bulk Terminals (Canada) Ltd., a leading multi-product bulk material export facility located on the North Vancouver waterfront is seeking one (1) individual to join our Procurement Team. The Procurement and Contracts Specialist provides full-cycle procurement and contract support primarily to the project teams for the entire contract and procurement life cycle from issuing solicitations to contract close out. This is a temporary, full - time role, reporting to the Procurement Manager.

The Procurement and Contracts Specialist will work collaboratively with project managers and leads in sourcing supply options, evaluating RFP submissions, bid administration, negotiation, and award. The position includes a strong focus on building, administering, and closing out contracts and agreements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Issue competitive bid documents (RFP/RFQ), collect and evaluate proposals, award solicitations, com-municate notices.
- Negotiate with vendors and collaborate internally to build appropriate procurement contracts and agreements.
- Execute contracts. Monitor and evaluate contract performance to determine necessity for amendments, extensions, re-negotiations, close outs as required.
- Provide professional and qualified procurement and contract information and guidance to Neptune pro-jects teams. - Prepare, issue and close off purchase orders.
- Perform product research and price/cost analysis of products/services.
- Build and sustain positive trustful relationships with suppliers and contractors.
- Ad hoc analysis and projects and process improvements as identified or required.

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Experience in the preparation of various forms of contracts and agreements such as construction con-tracts (CCDC) and Master Service Agreements (MSA).
- Solid analytical skills and ability to interpret commercial and legal information
- Advanced negotiation skills - communication, research, listening and collaboration.
- Able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment and set priorities successfully
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and/or in a team environment.
