Payroll and HR Administrator

Cornerstone to Recovery is seeking a qualified Payroll and HR Administrator to handle all payroll and human resource functions in addition to providing support to the Director of Finance with accounting and administrative support. We require a highly dedicated, professional individual with strong organizational skills and a proven ability to multitask. **Job Details**:
- 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday
- Full-time, permanent role after 3-month probationary period
- Salary, commensurate with experience
- Paid vacation and benefits after successful 3-month probationary period
**Qualifications and Skills Required**:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in payroll processing and human resources management required
- Well organized with strong time management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient with MS Office software
- Experience with Quickbooks payroll would be an asset
- Experience with accounting would be an asset
- Education in Payroll and Human Resources would be an asset
- Education in Accounting would be an asset
- Knowledge of provincial employment standard and relevant legislation would be an asset
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Process biweekly payroll
- Facilitate and follow up with directors to ensure completion of onboarding and offboarding processes and forms
- Administer employee benefits plan
- Maintain employee records
- Maintain vacation, sick, and professional development tracking schedules
- Act as a point of contact to address employees’ payroll and benefits questions and process changes to employee files and records
- Update and maintain employee emergency forms
- Assist directors in preparation for employee reviews including completion of performance review forms from employees and scheduling reviews to ensure completion of annual and three-month probationary reviews
- Assist board sub-committee in preparation for annual staff-board interviews and questionnaires including scheduling of in person interviews
- Work with management to foster a healthy work environment and positive company culture including employee feedback, industry initiatives, exit interviews, etc.
- Coordinate, facilitate procurement and scheduling, track, and document mandatory and non-mandatory employee training programs as approved by management team
- Facilitate and follow up with accreditation requirement notifications and completion of policy maintenance deadline
- Update and maintain the excel directory of individual + corporate sponsors and donors with up-to-date contact information, type of donation, last date of donation and any notes required
- Collect all donor and sponsor’s information and add it to the data base after each event
- Assist Director of Finance and Administration with accounting and administrative tasks
- Participate in fundraising event planning and execution as requested
- Volunteer at bingo
- *Other related duties and special projects as warranted

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
