**You as a Health & Safety Coordinator**:

- Be responsible for safety orientation, job site inspections and incident/injury reports
- Lead incident investigation teams
- Monitor employees and subcontractors on site to ensure compliance to safety procedures and escalate issues to resolution if necessary
- Proactively identify and prevent hazardous situations work with the project team to take necessary measures to correct them
- Organize and conduct training programs including but not limited to: WHMIS, Fall Protection, Personal Protection Equipment, CPR/First Aid
- Foster, grow and educate all site staff on continually developing a safety first culture

**Is this the right role for you?**
- You have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing health and safety within Institutional, Commercial, and/or Industrial projects
- A certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or a related topic would be a benefit
- National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) certificate is an asset
- You have the ability to delegate and influence others to follow safety rules and regulations
