The purpose of the Assistant Manager, Lifts and Attractions position is to continually strive to exceed our guests' expectations and to create memories for guests and employees as the best mountain experience. The Assistant Manager, Lifts and Attractions will set the cultural tone that inspires and engages the Lifts and Attractions team to deliver exceptional guest service and safety standards. They will ensure adherence to established standards, policies, procedures and supports the provision of meaningful on-boarding and ongoing training and development of employees. They plan, supervise and coordinate activities of the Supervisors, Team Leads and Operators and oversee the day to day operation and safety standards of our Lifts and Attractions

**WHAT WILL I BE DOING?**
- Assist the Manager with responsible charge of the Lifts and Attractions and provide leadership to the Supervisors, Team Leads and Operators for both day and night operations.
- Assists the Manager in motivating, coaching and recognizing great performance in the interest of creating a transformational and moving employee experience.
- Is vigilant in maintaining the communication stream with direct reports, other Managers, Patrol and Lift and Attractions mechanics.
- Sets a strong example daily and promotes high quality, friendly and cooperative relationships with guests and co-workers.
- Continually strives for improved safety, efficiencies and subsequent compliance to all policies, procedures and legislated regulatory requirements including but not limited to TSSA and MOL.
- Provide feedback for the preparation of annual operating budgets and business unit planning.
- Responsible for the organization, initiation and completion of seasonal ramp up and ramp down of the summer and winter operations.
- Assist the Manager in the recruitment and selection of new team members as well as the high-level retention of existing employees.

**WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?**
- OSSD or completion of high school equivalency (GED)
- 4 + years lift or attractions experience in a leadership role
- Strong public relations skills,experience managing difficult or emotional customer situations
- Competent with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and communication skills with a high level of initiative
- Valid Ontario "G" class drivers license
