
Bilingual French/english Inside Sales Representative

As our Bilingual French-English Inside Sales Representative for The Sage 50 Retention Team, you will be responsible for selling, supporting, and managing maintenance and support for existing customers. We are a highly successful and driven team recognized as a best-in-class maintenance and support organization. Our team works closely with other key teams to ensure both Sage and customer success. Every day, you will be responsible for generating revenue through renewals, up-selling, and closing maintenance contracts for existing Sage customers. Sales are primarily handled via phone and/or online. To thrive in this role, you must have open-ended and highly consultative conversations and address the customers' business needs and how they can expand the benefits of Sage products. Demonstrates basic knowledge of Sage products and maintenance contract offerings.
**This is a 12-month contract role.**
**This hybrid office environment is in downtown Vancouver or Toronto.**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage conversations with prospective accounts to build a relationship, determine needs for the product, and upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
- Meet or exceed the defined monthly sales quota.
- Identify customer needs and establish value by presenting how Sage could be a possible solution to the decision-maker.
- Document all sales activity and provide management with updates as required.
- Maintain an accurate pipeline of sales opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Excellent French & English communication skills in writing, speaking, and active listening.
- Preferred
- 1-year experience in B2B sales, value-based solution sales, telemarketing, outbound sales, inbound sales, account management, or business development in the high-tech or SaaS industry.
- Experience in MS Office Suite, Word and Excel, MS Outlook, Fusion Order Entry, and CRM tools like Salesforce.
- Strong organizational skills, including prioritizing, time management, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proven track record of success in a high volume/transactional sales environment.

The compensation will be determined by location, level, job-related knowledge, education, and experience. Certain provinces in Canada require job postings to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range applicable to the role.
For this role, in those locations, the target salary range + OTE (on target earnings with commission) for new hires is $44,400 to $74,000.
