Level One Support Technician

This job is ideally fit for young/dynamic/focused individual (preferably a Computer Science student of a bachelor level) aspiring to make career in IT and obtain real life hands-on experience in the field during the studies.
This person should be in the center of daily operations provide initial tech support for the customers and be a face to or operations. This is an ideal job for a person looking to improve the knowledge of computer technology or to obtain hands on experience with modern IT.
The main tasks should be:
- Handle incoming service calls and provide first level of tech support (Problem assessment, identification, open new and update existing service tickets)
- Assist customers at the first level and provide initial troubleshooting. (Examples being: assess why the system is down, what exactly is malfunctioning, verify connectivity, IP status, other system signals etc.)
- Assist Level 2 Technicians with their daily service calls. Coordinate their service calls with customers. Help them with service tickets. Provide help if necessary onsite at the customer's office or datacenter
- Knowledge of Administration of MS Windows is a plus
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft Cloud architecture is a definite asset (Azure, MS365)
- Knowledge of remote connectivity systems is a plus (Team Viewer, VNC, RDP, Citrix)
- MCSE/MCP starter pack is a definite asset
- Practical Hardware knowledge (Server/Desktop) is a definite asset
- Practical Knowledge of Linux of various flavors is a definite asset
- Practical Knowledge of printing technologies/management is an asset
- Good understanding of networking technologies is an asset.
- Hard working, Service oriented.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
