ESL Labs (“ESL”), is a leading North American test facility for environmental, mechanical and electromagnetic testing. We service marine, aerospace, mining, military and general commercial industries by ensuring products operate as required in demanding environments.

ESL Labsis a _Centre of Excellence_ for testing capabilities, providing a full range of testing services that enable companies to meet stringent product qualification, certification, validation, and regulatory requirements. Product companies have relied on ESL and its expertise for more than 25 years to ensure products work in harsh environments as designed.

Tests range from EMP resilience, ocean floor operating capacity, material tensile strength, high altitude operating capacity, electronic resilience in a ship ramming situation and computer operability in a vibrating environment. As well as many other simulated environments in between.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

The duties and responsibilities of the Sales Account Manager involve networking with current and potential customers by demonstrating ESL’s capabilities and services. The duties and responsibilities needed to excel in this position include:

- Assisting customers as they investigate & inquire about ESL services.
- Identifying and understanding customer testing requirements.
- Locating prospective customers, generating leads and converting leads into business.
- Meeting or exceeding weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales quotas.
- Forecasting and tracking key account metrics.
- Preparing and submitting weekly sales reports.
- Keeping contact lists and following up with current customers to continue building business relationships.
- Collaborating with the ESL team to support client needs.
- Develop sales strategies to increase business/sales revenue and design wins.
- Identify potential customers to generate new business opportunities as well as grow existing business.
- Consistently demonstrate a positive and professional image with all written and verbal communication.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Customer service skills to listen to customers and professionally answer questions or address concerns.
- Strong public speaking skills to present ESL capabilities, team expertise and testing services to customers.
- Communication skills to confidently make cold calls, explain testing services, quoting procedure and sales terms.
- Ability to meet deadlines and sales quotas.
- Ability to build rapport and collaborate with the ESL team.
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle.
- Able to obtain and maintain a positive Controlled Goods Assessment.
