We are looking for a **Technical Scientific Specialist** who will play a pivotal role in our commercial and scientific efforts across our operations.

**Job Overview**:
The Technical Specialist will be responsible for supporting our leadership team across multiple functions, contributing to both commercial and scientific efforts, and assisting with operational tasks. This is a diverse role ideal for someone passionate about science and business, who enjoys working in a dynamic, collaborative environment. The position is hybrid, based in Vancouver.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sales & Business Development**:

- Work with senior leadership in the development and execution of commercial strategies.
- Liaise with customers to understand their needs, provide technical insights, and support sales efforts.
- Assist in drafting proposals, presentations, and materials for customer meetings.
- Help manage the sales pipeline, follow up on leads, and contribute to closing deals.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences, supporting business development activities.

**Scientific Support**:

- Work with senior leadership in planning and coordinating scientific studies.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and communications for ongoing studies and collaborations with external researchers.
- Be a point of contact for scientific collaborators and partners.
- Assist in preparing scientific reports, presentations, and publications.
- Contribute to the preparation and submission of scientific grant proposals.

**Administrative Support**:

- Work closely with operations to assist with day-to-day administrative tasks as needed.
- Help with maintaining records and organizing documents.
- Support operational logistics as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as agriculture, biology, biotechnology, or a related discipline.
- Experience in sales/business development, ideally in a scientific or technical B2B environment.
- Project management experience is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with strong multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with scientific grant writing or proposal development is a plus.
