Medical Administration and Reception

We are looking for a skilled medical receptionist for our Forest Hill location, located conveniently around Eglinton and Bathurst. You will be directly assisting our Chronic Pain Specialists and their patients while offering auxiliary support to our Family Practice.
In addition to hands on responsibilities on the front desk, Typical duties will include:
- Greeting patients in a professionally and efficient manner
- Answer phones and manage requests
- Monitor and answer online requests and messages
- Schedule appointments with patients
- Billing, invoicing and receipt preparation (for non-OHIP services)
- Maintaining patient privacy & confidentiality
- Being able to deal with stress in a productive manner
- Create and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere
- Have strong problem solving skills and ability to multitask
- Collaboration with our physicians and nursing staff
**What you will need to be successful**:
1-3 years progressive experience in a medical/dental clinic environment; Specialist clinic is preferred Experience with an EMR system; PS Suite Preferred
- Strong computer skills and the ability to utilize multi system platforms is a must
- High degree of accuracy
- Strong organizational skills;
- Strong patient experience background
**Education**:
College or university degree/diploma
Diploma from a recognized medical office administration program desirable.
**Hours of work**:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9-5PM
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
**Experience**:
- EMR systems: 1 year (preferred)
- Medical office: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- MOA (preferred)
