Medical Administrative Assistant

The Sunnybrook Ophthalmology Department is looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate **Administrative Assistant** to provide exceptional care and positive interactions.
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- medical reception experience (Ophthalmology preferred)
- the ability to thrive in a fast paced, multifaceted, collaborative environment
- be able to work autonomously with mínimal supervision
- Oscar and OCT imaging experience an asset
Some of the tasks related to this role are:
- medical office administrative tasks as assigned
- actively listen to patient needs and direct their inquiries appropriately, both on the phone and in person
- greet patients in a friendly and professional manner; check-in patients and book future appointments
- load lanes/prepare patients for the Ophthalmologist
- maintain lane stock/cleanliness
- perform OCT imaging
