About the Position

The Chilliwack School District is seeking an experienced and highly organized Executive Assistant to join our dynamic Human Resources team. Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Human Resources, the Executive Assistant will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive high-level confidential administrative support to the HR leadership team and ensure the smooth operation of HR programs, systems, and services.

Core responsibilities include:

- Confidential Executive Support: Provide confidential executive support to the Assistant Director of Human Resources, including calendar management, preparing presentations and visual documents, technical writing, coordination of meetings, and managing correspondence.
- Support to HR Managers Team: Provide confidential support to the HR Managers team, including assisting with HR programs and initiatives, maintaining confidential records management systems, and acting as secretary for labour relations matters.
- Central Point of Contact: Act as a central point of contact for the Human Resources team, handling inquiries and requests with professionalism and discretion.
- Data Entry and Reporting: Perform confidential data entry and reporting for exempt employee groups, health and safety, government, and other agencies.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with key stakeholders within the organization, including District leadership, Payroll, Finance, union representatives, and external agencies.

Salary Range: $65,901 to $82,377, commensurate with experience

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of recent, progressive experience in an administrative or executive assistant role, preferably in a human resources environment.
- Experience in a school district or public sector environment, preferably in an excluded role working with unionized employees.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and intermediate proficiency in Adobe and visual design software (Canva, InDesign).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and set priorities.
