We are a growing Canadian owned collection agency collection agency with a proven track record of providing exceptional debt recovery services to our clients which is currently seeking an Accounting and Administration Clerk to join our team in Toronto, Ontario.

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Post payments and reconcile accounts;
- Prepare trust statements and invoices for clients;
- Remit payments to clients;
- Perform general accounting functions such as data entry, account reconciliations, and account analysis;
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting;
- Answer client inquiries regarding billing and payments;
- Participate in supporting financial audits;
- Provide administrative support to the collections team

**Qualifications**:

- Currently holding or actively pursuing a college diploma or degree in accounting or business administration;
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting and administration;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft 365 environment;
- Knowledge of accounting software such as Quickbooks would be an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $23.00-$29.00 per hour
