MacEwan University is seeking a Administrative Support II for a full-time 10-month non-recurring term opportunity with our kihêw waciston Indigenous Centre. Reporting to the Supervisor, you will contribute to the success of the University’s mission by providing general support services to learners and kihêw waciston.

Key responsibilities include:

- Identifying and facilitating appropriate resources for individuals’ needs quickly and sensitively;
- Scheduling appointments for students to meet with kihêw waciston Indigenous Centre staff members;
- Facilitating access to office space;
- Assisting with word processing and spreadsheet preparation;
- Setting up and maintaining filing systems, both electronic and hard copy;
- Assembling, copying, collating, and disseminating a variety of documents and materials;
- Preparing outgoing mail and courier shipments;
- Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels of office supplies, gifts, promotional materials, and assets;
- Planning, organizing, and scheduling meetings in the office, off-site, and via video conference;
- Scheduling and coordinating Centre tours;
- Assisting with special projects and event coordination and logistics; and
- Assisting the Centre in creating awareness of MacEwan's commitment to supporting the Indigenous learners, staff and faculty, and supporting positive relations with Indigenous communities, agencies and organizations.

**SKILLS**

You will have:

- Excellent communication and customer service skills;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Google Drive;
- Excellent time management and organizational skills;
- The ability to effectively problem-solve and prioritize multiple tasks;
- The ability to exercise judgment and discretion;
- The ability to work well in a team environment;
- The ability to multi-task and work with mínimal supervision; and
- Knowledge and understanding of Indigenous culture.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- A minimum of a high school diploma.
- Experience providing comprehensive administrative support.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
