**Your Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Manager - Program Support in Addiction and Mental Health (AMH), the Project Coordinator requires a degree of critical thinking, logistic, organization, and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to work independently. The incumbent will operate as a central point of contact for the Manager at Alberta Hospital Edmonton. As a result, the incumbent will be responsible to liaise with multiple clinical and support teams throughout the site and facilitate decision making. The incumbent will also be responsible for a variety of supply distribution activities including requisitioning direct purchases, maintenance of inventories, tracking supplies, and meeting with vendor representatives to ensure timely delivery of needed items to uphold patient care throughout the facility. The incumbent will work within the Program Support leadership team that is responsible for: -Providing operational guidance and leadership across the site spanning many services including: Clinical Support Services (Lab, DI, Pharmacy, Food Services, Linen and Environmental Services); Transportation; Occupational Health & Wellness; Infection, Prevention & Control; Facilities, Maintenance, and Engineering; Emergency Preparedness, and Quality Improvement teams. -Developing and implementing processes and plans that support site and AMH operations. Working with the Manager, this position will be instrumental in providing guidance to the site on AHS best practices and assisting in the development of site wide processes that guide day-to-day operations (e.g., procurement, IT, information tracking). -Provide project leadership and support on numerous projects including AMH zone visioning work that involves coordination of the various working groups, department teams (e.g., Moves Services, Space Management, Leasing), oversight committees and maintaining project/action trackers.

**Required Qualifications**:
Completion of post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field or equivalent.

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Five years in a coordination/management-type role is required; Customer service focus is essential; Strong understanding of health care with experience in site administration; Requires highly developed decision-making, negotiation, communication and problem solving skills; Excellent writing skills and the ability to respond to short timelines is required; Ability to respond under pressure and work in a complex environment; Ability to understand a mental health environment and the importance of recovery based principles of care.
