Based in Burlington, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible to guide the region in sales growth and profitability; to manage all sales related functions in area; and to guide the process of setting annual targets, budgets and objectives for the entire area, and to ensure execution of plans. This position creates and manages a sales organization which provides superior customer service and support to its customers.

**Role+Responsibilities
- Build effective team through managing performance of direct reports; set clear performance goals, have frequent performance conversations to review progress on action plans, provide ongoing feedback, and conduct thorough performance reviews.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans working with outside sales, representatives, inside sales and inside sales manager, etc. to help achieve sales targets.
- Direct sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly for the Endress+Hauser outside sales force.
- Review market analysis with all stakeholders to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
- Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations of the Endress+Hauser sales force in the region.
- Assign sales territory and monitor performance of representatives
- Deliver sales presentations as required to key customers in conjunction with the sales team
- Meet with key customers, provide support for outside sales or reps and work with to maintain and enhance business relationships; negotiate and close deals.
- Promote team work between all employees, representatives and other processes.
- Prepare quarterly sales reports
- Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition and provide feedback to marketing and other regions.
- Recommend or approve budget, expenditures, and appropriations for assigned sales offices.

**Qualification+Profile
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; plus at least 7 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Several successful years of managing a sales group or organization
- Sales, Product or Marketing management experience
- Mid/upper management experience
