**Project Coordinator, **Women and Gender Equity Directorate**

**This is a full-time, temporary position, working 75 hours bi-weekly.**

The Women and Gender Equity Directorate consists of a dedicated, collaborative team, passionate about advancing gender equity. We do this by collaborating with other departments, governments, non-profit organizations, Indigenous women’s organizations and First Nations governments to influence systems and program delivery. Over the last decade, the Women and Gender Equity Directorate is known for its leadership on significant policy issues, such as the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women’s Inquiry (MMIWG), 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusion, and preventing violence against women and girls. While our work is challenging, we create a fun, growth-oriented workplace.

**Essential Qualifications**

- Post-Secondary coursework in Social Science, Humanities, Arts and Culture, Indigenous Studies, Gender Equality, Public Administration, or related field.
- Experience leading, coordinating, and/or facilitating complex projects and teams.
- Experience providing strategic policy and/or communications advice and presentations within a government setting or large organization.
- Experience working with 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, Indigenous women’s initiatives, First Nation governments and/or equality-seeking non-governmental organizations will be considered an asset.
