**What’s the job?**

The Manager, Payments and Cash Management plays a key role in supporting Coast Business selling cash management services to established commercial services customers and targeted prospective customers. The Manager, Payments and Cash Management works closely with other Coast Business Managers to attain corporate goals and solidify customer retention efforts through the delivery of an integrated commercial customer experience. This role requires the incumbent to think quickly, manage time very well, respond to needs quickly and accurately, and be very well versed on the various set up options for on-line business accounts through COBB, CAFT, Merchant Services and Bill Payments on-line.**What you’ll get to do**:

- Ensure activities comply with pertinent external regulations and established policies, procedures and controls.
- Ensure compliance monitoring is in place, including processes for management of operational risk and AMLATF related risks in accordance with Company and regulatory standards.
- Maintain awareness of external conditions, including markets, competition, demographics and regulations, to provide input on payment and cash management products to meet customer needs while maintaining market competitiveness and profitability.
- Respond to general and technical customer inquiries and concerns within a given authority.
- In conjunction with commercial services managers, proactively assesse customer needs and recommend effective strategies and solutions
- Perform cost and benefit analyses and negotiates pricing to optimize product and service solutions
- Attend joint sales call with other commercial services managers in support of the cash management strategy
- Contribute to the growth of deposit business and associated cash management products, by meeting or exceeding assigned targets
- Responsible for the completion of all documentation related to the cash management products and services by the customer.
- Assist in coaching commercial services team on cash management practices, tools and processes with regards to the sales and maintenance of cash management products and services.
- Support partners within Commercial Services in marketing and sale of cash management services; review existing member practices and identify opportunities.
- This role operates within a small unit where all are required to jump in and service the business member per their individual needs including full customer product and technical set-ups.

**Who are we looking for?**
- Minimum 4 - 6 Years of Job-Related Experience. Minimum of 6 years of banking experience with 3 years of commercial banking. Demonstrated skills in portfolio growth and retention.
- Bachelor's Degree or a diploma requiring 3 - 4 years of full-time study.
- Strong knowledge of financial statements and strong analytical skills.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficient knowledge of commercial and personal credit analysis, policies, security and legal procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of Coast Capital Savings' policies and procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of deposit and cash management services, as well as, other products and services of Coast Capital Savings and its competitors.
- Proficient knowledge of computers and computer programs (i.e. Word, Excel).
- Proficient knowledge of local and provincial economies and trends in a variety of industries
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Advanced organizational and time management skills.
- Advanced ability to exercise good judgement in decision making.
- Strong level of marketing and business development skills.
- Advanced level of negotiating skills and demonstration of creative thinking with respect to providing business services and problem solving.
