**Essential duties and Responsibilities**:
Responsible for cooking/prepping hot and cold breakfast, plated or cook to order style, assemble catering coffee service/luncheons. May be required to assemble and serve food ensuring optimum quality and overall presentation. Assure compliance with all sanitation and food safety requirements. Operate Kitchen equipment such as industrial convection ovens, grill, steamer, flat grills, dish-machine. Maintain inventory/food quality control. The Breakfast/ Relief Cook will be in a frontline position providing exceptional resident student/priest, faculty, and guest service.

Demonstrated organizational skills, verbal/written instructions. Ability to work independently and in a team setting as required. Resolve customer concerns and relays relevant information to manager. Can handle multiple conflicting priorities in an environment with some interruptions. Health and physical conditions consistent with bending, prolonged standing, walking, lifting to 20kg. Demonstrate dependability, professional appearance.

**Shift and Schedule**

During Academic school year, late August to June.

Morning breakfast cook 7am - 11am. Rotating days and weekends to fill in day cook, lunch and dinner meals 9:30am - 6pm.

**Qualifications**:
Must have Food Handlers Certificate, Culinary/Cook Diploma from a college established under the Ontario Colleges. Cook experience. Minimum 3 years customer service in a restaurant, hospitality / education residential setting.
