Assistant/Clerk to the Accounting department as well all general administrative support for our office and service staff.

**Major Duties & Responsibilities**
- Data entry tasks of various financial transactions into the accounting software
- A/R and A/P functions, invoicing, verify accuracy and ensuring timely payments
- payroll preparation assistance
- Support the accounting department in identifying discrepancies and resolve issues
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive Excel spreadsheets for tracking
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, reports and tender packages
- Assist in the typing of correspondence letters, proposals, observation reports and draft documents
- Track all vacation requests and forward requests for approval
- Obtain WSIB and other insurance certificates
- Maintain the boardroom in a presentable manner
- Maintain all office supplies as required
- Maintain company paperwork and processing along with other general filing
- scheduling and confirming appointments.
- Reviewing sales contracts for accuracy and completion.
- Receiving and submitting service requests from customers.
- Performing follow-up calls with customers as required.
- Other assigned general administration duties as necessary, including scheduling customers.

**Requirements & Qualifications**
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in an associated or related field
- Proven experience ( 1-2 years minimum) in bookkeeping role
- Strong Attention to Detail and Accuracy
- Proficient in MS Office and QuickBooks Experience Preferred
- Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping principles and general ledger accounting
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong analytical skills for account analysis and problem-solving
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
