Under the authority of the _Professional Engineers Act_, PEO licenses and governs over 91,500 licence and certificate holders and regulates the practice of professional engineering in Ontario. PEO’s mission is to regulate and advance the practice of engineering to protect the public interest. With a talented, multidisciplinary staff of over 100, PEO’s vision is to be a trusted leader in professional self-regulation.

**Position Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist the executive leadership team with daily administrative tasks including managing calendar of appointments, registering for events, expense reports and reimbursements, composing and preparing correspondence, arranging travel plans, itineraries, agendas, and compiling documents for meetings including minutes and action plans.
- Collaborate with other departments and staff to obtain approvals.
- Deliver team support for the executive leadership team, from monitoring of inboxes to assisting with stakeholder communications.
- Offer support for events management activities such as registration for events, day of event management and coordination, and providing meeting materials.
- Provide vacation coverage as needed for team members.
- Build and maintain relationships crucial to the success of the organization.
- Manages access and general administrative oversite of the Executive Leadership Team cost center: Tracks and coordinates budgets and processes expense reports.
- Respond to confidential, complicated, and routine inquiries using tact, sensitivity and advanced questioning and problem-solving skills.

**Specialized Skills and Knowledge**

Skills and qualifications include:

- Post-secondary education in business administration or a related field with 3-5 years’ relevant work experience.
- Relationship building with diverse groups of people.
- Organizational skills to effectively manage multiple calendars, flow of information, and multiple priorities.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to create and present materials and information clearly.
- Technical savvy as this role will support our digital transformation team.

We have fully embraced hybrid working, and for this particular role this means coming to the office three times a week to work the leadership team. However, if you wish to work in the office more often, you are welcome to.
