Position Type: Full-time, ongoing

Location: 99 Cartwright Avenue, Toronto

Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000

Other compensation includes an extended health plan and Group RRSP contributions.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Alumni Relations & Community Engagement**:

- Connect members of our community with the life of the school through volunteer opportunities, targeted events, and programming
- Manage volunteers including developing and evaluating volunteer opportunities and supporting a variety of volunteer committees
- Provide database and administrative support to track community engagement and key alumni metrics
- Attend on-campus and off-campus events to ensure a personal face-to-face connection with participating members of the community
- Provide administrative and event support to the Advancement Team

**Communications**:

- Execute day-to-day electronic communications for our community
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and excellence in quality and content of messaging
- Produce promotional materials for various advancement initiatives and event collateral materials, including the creation of invitations, programs, video, and photo coordination
- Maintain and enhance the school’s promotional screens, website, SEO, microsites, and portals by adding live and up-to-date links, photos, videos, updates, fresh copy, and event details

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Post-secondary degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
- Solid base of knowledge and 2+ years experience in alumni relations, volunteer management, and digital communications experience, preferably in an independent school or another educational institution
- Digital communication experience and expertise on key social media platforms
- Technical skills to develop print, web, and electronic communication materials to support community engagement programs and initiatives
- Proficient in Google Workspaces, with an intermediate knowledge of graphic design tools including Canva, InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work some flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends

**OTHER INFORMATION**

A satisfactory vulnerable sector screening and background check is a condition of employment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
