We are looking for a **HR Coordinator** to join our team. It is a term position of 12 months.
**HR Coordinator**will be responsible for the recruitment and onboarding, employee record keeping by using our HRIS, collaborating with payroll for payroll processing, managing Health and Safety program, managing employee benefits, HR reporting and providing administrative support to employees as needed.
Work schedule: Mon to Fri
- 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Responsible for recruitment and onboarding of staff by monitoring the immediate recruitment needs.
- Ensure onboarding process is followed and accurately maintain/manage the HR database with employee files, records, and documentation in our HRIS.
- Responsible for the administration of the company benefits, RRSP & DPSP match program. Ensure compensation levels are appropriate, contribute to retention, and align with the company’s objectives.
- Assist payroll department as required.
- Manage the Performance Management and Health and Safety program within the organization and keep up to date with our ISO requirements.
- Record and investigate all safety related issues within the organization and take corrective measure.
- Provide guidance to leaders and employees and assist toward the resolution of issues or complaints.
- Responsible for providing administrative support to employee as needed.
- Ensure that policy and processes are compliant with legislation and support the organization to reduce the risks related to people and processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- Post-Secondary education in Human Resources is preferred, and a CPHR designation or pathway to CPHR is an asset.
- Atleast 2-3 years of HR experience in similar role is required.
- Previous experience working with Ceridian Dayforce is an asset.
- Exceptional writing ability, verbal communication and relationship-management skills required.
- Self-starter with the capacity to prioritize work and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong computer abilities, particularly with HRIS, Payroll and MS Office Suite is required.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12-18 months
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay
