Job description Summary

The Technology Solutions Consultant provides brokers and industry partners with technical guidance and best practices for embedding FIRST Canada payment solutions and integrations in their technology. The role liaises with Sales to identify insurance partners suited for FIRST Canada’s solutions and formally establishes project management plans in order to implement solutions. This role requires a strong focus on the client experience, a thorough understanding of FIRST Canada’s solutions, leadership acumen, and a good grasp of project management methodologies.

What You’ll Do
- Lead and participate in client or partner discussions about FIRST Canada’s technical solutions and integrations. Responsible for ensuring that Sales and clients/partners understand how the solutions work technically and how they will meet the clients’ needs. Follow up on these discussions with action plans to move projects forward.
- Plan and perform user acceptance testing, working with technical counterparts on the client side to share and analyze testing results.
- Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to conduct post-implementation reviews to assess how solutions and integrations are performing. Pull data reports, review with stakeholders and make recommendations for improvements.
- Develop written technical specifications for customizations and bug fixes; document workflows and standard operating procedures as they relate to FIRST Canada’s technical solutions.
- Provide intermediate to advanced troubleshooting support on issues with integrations raised by internal and external users
- Perform other administrative and testing functions as determined by project need.

- Experience providing excellent customer service to internal and external clients

- Advanced understanding of technical concepts and a willingness to expand knowledge in this area

Training/Education/Experience Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience, preferably within the financial services industry
- Basic understanding of APIs and API testing tools
- Project management and/or ITIL training is an asset
- French bilingualism is an asset, but not mandatory
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook. Experience with Visio would be an asset.
- Experience with Salesforce would be an asset

The expected compensation range for this role is $51,708.80 - $64,646.40.

Compensation will be based on background and relevant experience.
