- Durham Spine & Pain Institute (DSPI) is a brand new, spectacular clinical facility located in Ajax, Ontario, minutes from Ajax-Pickering hospital. DSPI was founded by a group of Physicians with a combined many decades of experience providing patient-centric, multidisciplinary, interventional pain management experience. At DSPI, we believe in promoting healing and improved care by using proven, evidence-based interventions and regenerative therapies. We seek to improve our clients, and their families, overall quality of life by providing education, continued and focused care, and various interventional treatments based on individual client needs. **Mandate **:DSPI is seeking a highly organized and experienced Office Manager with strong communication and computer skills to work alongside our Director of Operations, Physicians and staff to assist with overseeing all front desk operations, reviewing payroll, and managing small accounts. Responsibilities include:

- Review and supervise internal systems for handling cash flow patient payments;
- Oversee employee payroll and make corrections as required;
- Oversee front end operations and reception;
- Assist reception as required, which may include the following:

- Greeting patients upon arrival and assisting with registration;
- Verifying patient demographics and information; ensuring Health card is valid;
- Answering phone calls and returning messages promptly;
- Managing incoming faxes and directing to the appropriate personnel;
- Scheduling patients and booking initial assessments for new clients;
- Address all customer services concerns that may occur;
- Review and oversee lawyer and legal requests;
- Oversee biohazard waste removal, scheduling pick up and account management;
- Oversee cleaning schedule of clinic and account management;
- Assist with scheduling and procuring coverage for wellness and vacation time;
- Ensure employees uphold DSPI’s mission and values and provide exceptional customer service to clients and their families; display strong leadership and teamwork skills;
- Medical Office Administration Diploma preferred;
- Must have current BLS certification.
