We are growing our team and are looking for an Accounting Assistant who can deliver a high level of service accompanied with technical skills in a fast-paced work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Input of accounts payable and visa expenses, scheduling payments
- Accounts receivable including monthly customer billing and collections
- Conduct monthly credit card and banking reconciliations in a timely manner
- Participate in bi-weekly payroll preparation and timecard maintenance
- Prepare government remittances as required
- Assist with commissions updates and reconciliations
- Maintain electronic and paper filing system
- Assist Accounting Manager as required with various projects

What You Bring:

- At least 2 - 3 years’ experience in a financial setting
- Minimum post-secondary education in accounting or similar field
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Online (or similar accounting software)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy within your work
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within in a team environment
- Must be able to clear a background and credit check

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 2 years (preferred)
- Microsoft Excel: 3 years (preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Collingwood, ON
