**About the Role**:
The **Accounts Payable Coordinator** focuses on the day to day managing and capture of
financial information including timely and accurate preparation of invoice entry and
payments as well as and supporting other departments by providing useful, accurate
and timely financial data.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assemble, review and verify invoices and check requests
- Process invoices and outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies

and procedures and reporting deadlines
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted

for and properly posted
- Enter and upload invoices and ensure timely, accurate capture of financial data

in Dynamics GP
- Prepare and perform check runs, electronic transfers and monitor accounts to

ensure payments are up to date
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Provide backup for colleagues’ tasks including payments and recording of new

Music Inventory Acquisitions as well as updating and evaluating performance of
existing properties during post-acquisition phase
- Assist in Interim and year-end audit process, including assigned audit schedules

and working papers
- Ad-hoc projects and tasks as required

**Qualifications, Experience and Skills**:

- 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- Effective verbal and written communication ability
- Ability to effectively set priorities with strong organizational skills to handle

multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Demonstrated decision-making support and analysis experience
- Proven adherence to deadlines and effectively balances competing objectives
- Tech-savvy and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Dynamics Great Plains experience an asset
- Basware experience an asset
- Experience with audits and Internal Controls an asset
