**Position Summary**

In this role, you’ll be central to our financial operations, handling critical tasks like account reconciliations and reporting. - Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Perform account reconciliation and resolve discrepancies as needed
- Credit card reconciliations, and coding of related receipts
- Preparing and recording information for cost accounting purposes and other accounting or administrative duties as required
- Assist in the preparation of supporting working papers for month-end adjustments, reports, and other accounting documents
- Responsible for performing administrative tasks with respect to our finance department
- Other responsibilities may include filing, printing, photocopying, general errands, and other tasks as needed
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
**Requirements**:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Minimum 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, must be flexible and willing to work overtime
- Working knowledge of computerized accounting software (Sage Suite, and Sage 50 preferred)
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Must be able to type and perform data entry
- Excellent organizational skills
- A positive, friendly attitude with the ability to work in a team environment
- Proficient in both verbal and written English communication
- **Local to or willing to relocate to Central Alberta**
**Assets**
- Post-secondary education in administration or in a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting assistant role
