**Role Overview**:
The Logistics Coordinator at PIFL will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our supply chain operations. This position is responsible for coordinating the logistics of our industrial products, from procurement through delivery, ensuring that our products reach our customers on time and in perfect condition. Reporting to the VP, Operations, you will be a key player in optimizing logistics processes, managing relationships with shipping and logistics partners, managing our fleet of PIFL vehicles, and resolving any logistics-related issues. Your contribution will have a direct impact on our ability to meet customer demands and maintain our reputation for excellence and reliability.

**Your First 90 Days**:
**First 30 Days: Orientation and Integration**

Immerse yourself in the PIFL culture, products, and logistics systems. Participate in comprehensive training sessions, shadow experienced colleagues, and begin to manage basic logistics tasks under guidance.

**Next 30 Days: Strategy and Engagement**

Take on increased responsibility by independently managing logistics tasks, optimizing shipping schedules, and engaging with suppliers and transport partners. Start identifying areas for process improvement.

**Following 30 Days: Independence and Growth**

Gain full responsibility for managing logistics operations within your purview, demonstrating strategic planning and problem-solving capabilities. Drive initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency and support our growth strategy.

**Success Metrics for the First 90 Days and Beyond**:

As part of our team, you will be evaluated on specific success metrics such as the improvement of shipment turnaround times, reduction of logistics costs, and enhancement of customer satisfaction scores. These goals are designed to guide your journey towards achieving operational excellence and to foster a culture of accountability and achievement.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and oversee the entire logistics process, from order placement to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective operations.
- Manage relationships with vendors, transport companies, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth supply chain management.
- Utilize logistics software to track shipments, analyze logistics performance, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track inventory levels, monitor shipments, and generate reports.
- Resolve any shipping or logistics issues promptly, implementing long-term solutions to prevent a recurrence.
- Support the development and implementation of logistics strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards.
- Monitor and analyze transportation costs, delivery times, and service quality to optimize logistics operations.
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials and products for shipping.
- Develop and maintain logistics policies and procedures to standardize operations and ensure compliance with industry best practices.
- Participate in contract negotiations with logistics service providers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to provide logistics support for order fulfillment and customer inquiries.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics operations.
- Coordinate with the finance department to ensure accurate invoicing and cost allocation for logistics activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management to continuously improve operations.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of disruptions to the logistics network.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure that logistics operations meet product quality standards and customer requirements.
- Lead logistics-related projects, such as implementing new software systems or optimizing distribution routes.
