We are looking for an Oracle Reporting & Analytics Analyst at our Walker - Oakville location.
**Position Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Application Support
- Configure changes and implement data collection process enhancements for Reporting & Analytics data sources across Oracle and other boundary systems
- Create, implement and manage data model and data architecture changes to support business reporting requirements that align with current design; perform appropriate testing and validation against data sources
- Document and recommend options that support business decisions, ensuring the identification of any business impacts, risks and mitigation strategies.
- Develop and maintain SQL scripts to cleanse data and integrate into the data warehouse.
- Develop and maintain SQL scripts to populate and maintain data views for dashboards
- Support the end-to-end lifecycle of release management activities, including reviewing release information, preparing communications for impacted stakeholders, analyzing impacts of functionality, and completing testing.
- Development and maintenance of the custom and standard reports and dashboards, and coordinating as needed to enhance, modify, or tailor.
- Conduct research and analysis of key issues involving relevant internal/external groups as necessary
- Optimization
- Assesses issues, enhancement requests and suggests solutions
- Reviews business processes and recommends changes in Oracle
- Analyze existing Oracle use to identify opportunities to extend or improve its value
- Assess enhancement requests for benefits and risks
- Documents, prioritizes and implement enhancements
- Sustainment- First contact from end users on incidents or service requests. Assesses queries for complexity.
- Supports training for new joiners.
- Updates training materials based on upgrades, enhancement or similar changes.
- Completes complex end user testing, oversees testing performed by other users.
- Supports user communities
- Maintains Reports, Conversions, Extensions, Forms, Fast Formulas and workflows.
- Understands data model and drives data integrity
- Updates documentation
- FAQ’s for user support, functional specifications, user stories
- Prepares communications of key Oracle changes relating to upgrades or enhancements.
- Assists business users to adapt to system changes.
**Skills**
This position requires a high level of initiative and judgment in order to organize, prioritize and execute daily tasks alongside enhancements and other strategic initiatives. The incumbent will be exposed to a significant amount of confidential data, and will need to demonstrate their absolute discretion in all of their dealings.

- Proficient communication skills, both oral and written, to disseminate information with clarity.

- Strong attention to details, able to identify exceptions, anomalies and trends in data.
- Experience in process analysis and documentation.
- Ability to understand business needs and translate them into solutions.
**Education & Job Knowledge**
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Computer Science Degree would be an asset.
- Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud Enterprise, Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle Data Integrator, SQL Developer
- Proficiency in Oracle Cloud, MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
- Expert level experience with Excel
**Experience**
- More than three years’ experience working with Oracle Reporting or comparable
- Experience in creating and refining data models in Oracle Autonomous Database
- Some accounting experience or education an asset.
