As **Administrative Assistant (Legal), CAO** you will play a pivotal role in providing crucial legal assistance and administrative support to the CAO in our Toronto headquarters.

**What You Will Do**
- Preparing legal documents, notices, and various forms of correspondence, including contract drafting and proofreading.
- Tracking and managing invoices and payments related to legal expenses, and assisting in reporting and budgeting for legal expenses.
- Conducting research on regulations, laws, and legal articles to support the preparation of reports and case files.
- Assisting with procurement reviews and vendor validation processes.
- Attending meetings and taking meticulous notes, as well as assisting in the collection of legal and factual documents.
- Maintaining organized case files, calendars, and deadlines.
- Handling administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and document binding.
- Attending organizational and departmental meetings as required.
- Collaborating and communicating with other departments under the guidance of the Vice-President.
- Undertaking any other ad hoc duties assigned by the Vice-President, Corporate Administration.

**What You Will Bring**
- A College Diploma or Degree in paralegal studies, a paralegal certificate, or a Legal Office Assistant program.
- 1-3 years of experience working in a similar role within a corporate setting.
- Specialized knowledge and skills in the legal assistant profession.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong self-reliance, excellent workload management, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail, adept time management, and superb organizational skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a professional demeanor.
- Technical proficiency and adaptability to utilize various software tools.
- A proven track record of handling confidential information with discretion.
- Good judgment, proactive work ethic, and well-developed interpersonal skills.
