Quik's Farm Ltd. is a wholesale cut flower grower based in Chilliwack, BC, with over 20 acres of indoor and 20 acres of seasonal outdoor growing space.

Quik’s Farm is geared towards the intense production of cut Chrysanthemums, Oriental Lilies, Alstroemeria, and other seasonal crops utilizing state-of-the-art growing systems and leading-edge technology to produce high quality products for our diverse customer base throughout Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest USA.

Currently there is a full-time opening for an Executive Assistant/Human Resource Administrator. This position is responsible for performing all HR-related duties on a professional level and provides administrative support for the CEO. **This position carries out responsibilities in the following areas**: benefits administration, employee relations, training and development, performance management administration, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, database management, and administrative support.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining and/or updating company policies as needed.
- Expanding and creating new training materials.
- Implementing rollout of new and/or updated HR programs and initiatives.
- Maintaining human resources databases and employee records as required.
- Updating and modifying job descriptions when position responsibilities and duties change.
- Working closely with the CEO and management in fulfilling all hiring needs.
- Developing job advertisements and posting vacant positions.
- Assist in continued development of expanding work force.
- Interviewing and hiring new employees for our growing business.
- Administer the screening process for all new hires to include background checks and prepare new hire offer letters and packages.
- Prepare orientation for new hires by sharing onboarding packages and explaining company policies and enroll a new hire into the time clock program.
- Performs administration of benefits plans to include enrollments.
- Supporting managers with scheduling and conducting performance reviews.
- Attending and organizing management meetings; including coordination agenda, drafting meeting minutes, and following up.
- Organize and prepare relevant briefing or background materials for management meetings.
- Work with CEO and management to perform any other tasks as needed.
- Assist with special projects as needed.

**Qualifications & requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a Human Resources or related role with proven work experience.
- Must be advanced at using Microsoft Office Programs including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, SharePoint, and social media platforms.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ensure superior level of accuracy and attention to detail in all areas.
- Effectively identify and prioritize tasks on day-to-day basis.
- Ability to multi-task in a high production environment.
- Ability to take initiative on challenging assignments.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information.

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field will be considered an asset.
- **Work Experience**: Must have a minimum of 1-5 years proven experience as an executive assistant/HR admin or other relevant administrative support experience.
- **Language**: Must be fluent in English language.

This position may require you to work on Saturdays and statutory holidays. There will be no Sunday work.
