**Role Overview and Purpose**:
Our Chilliwack head office, which serves approx. 1000 employees in over 60 branches has a current opening for an HR Advisor. This role suits an experienced HR associate looking to take their career to the next level. Reporting to the Director, Employee Relations, the HR Advisor will join our hard-working yet fun-loving team, helping with day-to-day HR administration and employee/leader services. In addition to the regular HR operations, this role will take on new and exciting projects that both fill a business need and play to their natural strengths.

**Action Items**:
Administration of onboarding and off-boarding

Maintaining and updating data in our HRIS

Assist with recruiting activities

Administration and tracking for employees on leave

Guiding and providing service to managers and employees on HR processes

Liaise with Corporate Partners

Create content for internal Sharepoint site

Promote Health & Safety and Wellness programs

Leverage technology to design engaging and interactive learning content

Assist with employee relations management

Promote Health & Safety and Wellness programs

Field support and relationship connections

**Qualifications and Experience**:
1 - 3 years of HR experience

Completion of a post-secondary HR diploma or degree program preferred

Previous experience with Workday preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships

Advanced technology/computer skills

High level of expertise and creativity in the development of learning content

Confidence in procedural decisions and judgements

Strong organizational skills to work efficiently and meet deadlines

Growth mindset

Team oriented

Customer service or Operations experience is an asset
