The Corporate Services Division provides valuable and accessible corporate services to support our people and the ministry’s strategic objectives. - The Specialist implements learning and development programs and / or ministry and corporate initiatives in alignment with ministry cultural and business goals. This position informs curriculum and program design, ensuring adherence to new or changed policy, legislation, or standards, and considering adult learning principles and human resource best practices. This position also plans, designs, and administers a variety of culture and engagement and/or learning and development activities to meet user and organizational needs, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, budget and specified quality.**Job Requirements**:

- Post-secondary diploma in a related field (such as human resources, organizational development, leadership, education, public administration, or business administration, etc.), and minimum 1 year *related experience; OR
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
- Related experience must include the following:

- Experience in planning, organizing and prioritizing work, projects and deadlines.
- Experience facilitating in a virtual environment.
- Experience developing presentations and support materials (E.g. PowerPoints, Frequently Asked Questions documents, instructional materials, etc.)

Preferences:
- Experience leading project teams, committees, or Communities of Practice
- Experience with direct supervision of staff.
- Experience in developing and delivering training or development programs for adults in a business environment.

**About this Position**:
This is a temporary opportunity until June 30, 2024. A permanent appointment may result from this temporary appointment.
