Hands on Health Wellness Centre is one of the fastest growing rehabilitation facilities in Southwestern Ontario.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self motivated medical/paramedical office administrator to join our team.

**—This is a full time position, that would **_**NOT **_**be suitable for students who are currently enrolled in university or college courses—**

Full Training is provided, HCAI, EHC, MVA, WSIB billing experience is a strong asset

**We are looking for an individual who has the following qualities**:

- Time management skills - to be able to prioritize activities, especially when there is a high volume of tasks
- Attention to detail to ensure that all company memos are free of any errors
- Positive attitude for greeting customers and clients in a friendly and warm manner upon arrival to the office or through the phone
- Communication skills - to be able to communicate with internal team members, patients and clients and understand their needs
- Strong organizational skills to keep multiple calendars organized
- Administrative skills - to be able to use basic computer programs including Microsoft Office
- Flexibility - to be able to move between activities and duties quickly if priorities change
- Strong sense of integrity, professionalism and commitment
- Ability to be innovative and take initiative to help the practice grow
- Respectful of all ethical considerations including strict confidentiality
- Ability to be empathetic with patients on the telephone and in person

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Create a welcoming environment by greeting patients, answering phone calls, directing visitors, and taking messages for employees
- Take customer/patient complaints or issues and pass them on to the appropriate parties
- Coordinate intake information, scheduling appointments, confirming patient's appointments, prepare and process outstanding balance statements, communicate with legal firms and insurance company representatives
- Organizes and files company documents either electronically or with a paper filing system
- Provides support for teams when necessary
- Perform administrative duties related to running a private medical/paramedical practice
- Manage and delegate tasks to associates contractors, interns and volunteers, etc.
- Preparing, reviewing and editing reports and other documents

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
