Marketing Manager

RMUS is the leading remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS) vendor in North America providing vetted equipment sales, education programs (online and in person), and professional and technical support services. We are specialists in developing enterprise drone and robotic inspection programs, which provide enhanced situational awareness and inspection capability resulting in better decision making. Our solutions are used daily by industrial, commercial, government (all levels) and educational entities across Canada.

We are seeking a high-performing and motivated full-time Marketing Manager to oversee our marketing programs, and to build RMUS Canada’s digital presence. The Role

This role is for someone that loves all aspects of Marketing with a strong understanding of driving marketing campaigns across all channels: Digital, Social, and Traditional. This role leads our small marketing team and requires both a strategist and a doer mentality.

We are looking for someone to build a plan based on our brand positioning and strategic objectives that ensures we get the right message to the right customers. Reporting directly to the General manager, you are a critical component to our growing team.
- 5-8 years of marketing experience in a B2B environment with a minimum 2-3 years background in marketing technical products,
- Experience in marketing at a small or medium business where you have worn many marketing hats,
- Experience in developing content and an overall content strategy
- A naturally creative person who has the willingness to experiment.
- Able to build great relationships with everyone.
- Sees a challenge as an opportunity, not an obstacle.
- Adept at juggling multiple priorities and knows the importance of keeping everything well documented and organized.
- Detail-oriented, with superior project management and follow-through skills.

Nice to have’s:

- Prior experience identifying and building out new channels to drive lead generation.
- Prior experience working in drone industry is a plus.
- Exposure and working knowledge of marketing automation tools such as Yesware is an asset.

What you will do:

- In collaboration with the general manager, develop the overall yearly marketing strategy and execution plan.
- Manage the month to month execution of campaigns and track results, making adjustment based on success levels.
- Implement plans to increase brand awareness and market share.
- Implement, and monitor our digital marketing campaigns across all digital networks.
- Work with our technical team to collaborate on new topic ideas and publish thought leadership content.
- Collaborate with the marketing coordinator and 3rdparty contractors to promote our content and grow our target audience.
- Contribute to a growth strategy for new and existing marketing channels.
